Caleb Cannon is one of the four younger brothers of television host, comedian and musician Nick Cannon, but his public story differs from the career that made the family famous. While other members of the family have pursued music, production and reality television, Caleb has attracted attention for a facial-exercise product called Chin Chizler and for his involvement in faith-based activities.
His name regularly appears in discussions of Nick’s four younger brothers, although reliable details about his day-to-day life remain limited. What can be established offers a more interesting portrait than a celebrity family connection alone: a childhood shaped by church performances, an independently documented product idea and a comparatively reserved relationship with publicity.

Caleb Cannon’s Place in the Cannon Family
Nick Cannon is the eldest of five sons of James Cannon. His younger brothers are Gabriel, Reuben, Javen and Caleb, whose lives have intersected with entertainment in different ways.
The distinction between their parents matters. Nick’s mother is Beth Gardner, while James had the other four sons with another woman. That makes Caleb and Nick paternal half-brothers, although family coverage routinely describes them simply as brothers. Caleb’s mother has not been consistently identified in reliable mainstream coverage.
Nick has discussed his father’s work with community media, writing and public-access broadcasting, an environment that introduced storytelling and performance to family life.
Unlike Nick, Caleb has not built a widely documented career around television presenting or acting.
A Musical Childhood Rooted in Church
The brothers’ experience of performing began long before television fame became part of the household. In a 2017 interview with Christian hip-hop publication Rapzilla, Gabriel Cannon recalled the family singing church music, making sketches and filming home productions with their father.
Some of the brothers formed 3YB, short for Three Young Brothers, and performed at church. The group reflects the household’s shared interest in performance, although its membership should not be assumed to include every sibling.
When Nick found success on Nickelodeon’s All That, his younger brothers watched someone close to them enter a world that had previously seemed remote. Gabriel described the admiration they felt and the desire to follow his example. However, there is no sufficiently documented solo discography, starring role or major production credit that can be attributed to Caleb.
Chin Chizler: A Business Idea Beyond Entertainment
A United States patent application identifies Caleb Ezra Cannon as the inventor of Chin Chizler. Filed on 1 April 2021 and published on 6 October 2022, the application describes a wearable arrangement of resistance bands intended for exercises involving the chin, jaw and facial muscles.
Entertainment coverage has also identified Nick Cannon’s brother Caleb with the Chin Chizler business.
How the Chin Chizler Concept Works
The published application describes bands positioned around the head and chin. Users would move their jaw against resistance, with the design intended to make exercises portable and adjustable.
Those are claims within a product description, not independently established clinical outcomes. A patent document explains an invention; it does not demonstrate that the device delivers cosmetic or health benefits.
What the Public Record Establishes
The filing is evidence of an identifiable invention and its submission for patent consideration, but it is not evidence of commercial success. The application’s recorded status is abandoned, rather than granted.
Chin Chizler has also maintained an online product presence. However, publicly verifiable figures for Caleb’s ownership stake, sales, earnings or current management responsibilities are unavailable. It would be misleading to treat a product page or patent application as proof of business revenue.
Faith Became an Important Part of His Public Story
A less familiar aspect of Caleb’s background emerged through Gabriel’s conversation with Rapzilla in 2017. Gabriel described Caleb embracing Christian evangelism and speaking to people about his faith on Hollywood Boulevard.
According to that account, Caleb’s commitment influenced Gabriel during a period when he was reassessing his own goals and relationship with celebrity culture. Gabriel subsequently discussed moving towards Christian music and redefining success on his own terms.
Gabriel’s comments do not establish Caleb’s present religious activities, any formal ministry appointment or a continuous professional role in evangelism.
Caleb’s place in that conversation centred on conviction and personal direction, rather than another attempt to secure a television platform.
What Is Caleb Cannon’s Relationship with Nick Cannon?
Caleb and Nick share a father and belong to a family that has periodically celebrated milestones together. A family photograph shared in September 2022, discussed in People magazine’s coverage of the siblings, showed Caleb participating in a celebration of Nick.
Such appearances confirm a visible family connection without revealing the private details of their relationship. Neither a photograph nor a relative’s interview can support claims about how often the brothers meet, whether they share finances or how they manage personal differences.
Nick’s public success undoubtedly gives the family greater visibility. His work on Wild ’N Out, America’s Got Talent and The Masked Singer has made the surname familiar to audiences in both the United States and Britain.
For Caleb, however, being related to a famous entertainer should not be confused with holding a role in that entertainer’s companies or productions. No continuing position of that kind is reliably established.
Four Brothers, Different Routes into Public Life
Gabriel Cannon: Music and a Reality-Television Win
Gabriel pursued music and won the second season of ABC’s Claim to Fame in 2023. The competition required contestants to conceal their relationships with famous relatives, making his connection to Nick central to the eventual reveal.
Javen Cannon: Writing, Production and Comedy
Javen attended Howard University and worked behind the scenes on Wild ’N Out before becoming a recurring cast member across seasons 13 to 16. His experience illustrates a direct route into entertainment production as well as on-screen work.
Reuben Cannon: A Career in Music
Reuben has released songs and music videos and has credited Mariah Carey, Nick’s former wife, with giving him an early opportunity in the business. His professional focus has therefore remained closer to the family’s musical beginnings.
Their different routes matter because there is no single Cannon family career path. Caleb’s venture into a consumer-product concept stands apart from the brothers’ more visible creative projects.
Why Caleb Has a Smaller Public Footprint
Publications covering the family have consistently had far less biographical material about Caleb than about Gabriel, Javen or Reuben. His occasional appearances in family photographs offer glimpses of connection, not an ongoing celebrity career.
That does not prove he deliberately rejects attention.
It also means some common online claims deserve caution. Caleb’s precise age, birth date, educational history, marital status and whether he has children cannot be reliably confirmed from established reporting. The same is true of any purported salary or personal fortune.
There is no sound basis for assigning him a net-worth figure by association with Nick, by estimating the value of Chin Chizler or by repeating anonymous celebrity wealth websites.
Where Does Caleb Cannon Stand Today?
As of 2026, the most substantive publicly documented elements of Caleb’s story remain his Cannon family connection, Gabriel’s account of his faith-related work and the Chin Chizler patent application.
Likewise, an interview published years ago should not be mistaken for an up-to-date account of his religious or professional commitments.
For anyone following the Cannon family, that distinction is essential. Caleb is connected to a prominent entertainment household, but his own documented activities point beyond show business.
Conclusion
Caleb Cannon is more than a name in Nick Cannon’s family tree. His documented connection to Chin Chizler and his brother’s account of his religious activities reveal interests beyond Hollywood, while his family history explains why audiences recognise him. His story is best understood through those established details, without turning gaps in the public record into invented biography.
FAQs
Who Is Caleb Cannon?
Caleb Cannon is one of television personality Nick Cannon’s four younger brothers. He has received relatively limited media attention compared with his siblings, but public coverage connects him to a facial-exercise product called Chin Chizler and to faith-based activities discussed by his brother Gabriel.
Is Caleb Cannon Nick Cannon’s Biological Brother?
Yes. Caleb and Nick share the same father, James Cannon. Nick’s mother is Beth Gardner, while James had Caleb and his three other younger sons with another woman. Caleb and Nick are therefore paternal half-brothers, though they are generally referred to as brothers.
How Old Is Caleb Cannon?
A reliably confirmed date of birth for Caleb is not available in established biographical coverage. Consequently, there is no dependable basis for stating his exact age in 2026. Dates circulating without an attributable primary record should not be presented as verified.
What Business Is Caleb Cannon Associated With?
He has been associated with Chin Chizler, a facial resistance-exercise product. A US patent application published in 2022 names Caleb Ezra Cannon as inventor. The application was subsequently marked abandoned. His current commercial responsibilities and the venture’s financial results have not been independently established.
Is Caleb Cannon Married, and Does He Have Children?
Reliable public sources do not establish his marital status or whether he has children. Family photographs and occasional social-media activity are insufficient to answer either question accurately, and there is no reason to infer private relationships from his brother’s celebrity status.
